Salfa Constructions Private Limited is based out of Murshidabad, specifically at House No. N0044 in Mominpur. We are right near the post office in Domkal. It is a pretty well-known spot in the neighborhood, so we are easy to find. Working in this part of West Bengal is different than the big city. We know our neighbors and we know the land here. Our office is a practical space where we keep our tools and our logs. We spend our days managing construction jobs around the area. It involves a lot of travel between different sites and making sure the workers have what they need. Sometimes we are waiting on supplies to come in from further away, which can be a bit of a wait. We don't have any big corporate mission statements or anything like that. We just want to build houses and structures that people can actually use. We keep our overhead low and our focus on the physical work. The weather here can be tough, especially during the monsoon, but we plan around it as best as we can. We are just a small group of people who know how to mix concrete and lay bricks properly. We deal with the local authorities for permits and try to keep everything above board. It is honest, hard work and we have been doing it for quite a while now. We take pride in just finishing a job well.
