Sahibul Hardware

My shop, Sahibul Hardware, is located in Suti-2, near the Pura Para post office in Murshidabad. It is a quiet area and most of our customers are locals who live nearby or farmers from the surrounding fields. I have been running this place for quite some time now. We sell basic things like tools, locks, buckets, and some plumbing supplies that people need for their homes. The shop is not very large and it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock delivered. I usually sit at the wooden desk near the front door. I know almost everyone who walks in, which makes the days go by faster because we always have something to chat about. Murshidabad is a nice place to live and work, even if it is a bit slow compared to the big cities. We don't have any computers or fancy systems here. Everything is written down in a big ledger book. Sometimes my son helps me out in the shop during the weekends. We open up early because that is when the workers like to buy their supplies before heading out to the jobs. It is a simple business and I don't plan on changing much. We just keep the shelves full of the things people ask for most. It’s just a normal village hardware store where you can find a bit of everything if you look hard enough. We are happy just being here.
