Sahayata-Nutrition,Health,Education &Research Foundation

We are located at 39/1, B.N. Sen Road in the Khagra area of Murshidabad. It is an old part of town with a lot of history in the streets. Sahayata-Nutrition,Health,Education & Research Foundation operates out of this building, which has been around for quite a while. The road outside can get pretty congested with rickshaws and people walking to the market, especially in the late afternoons. Our office is a simple place with white walls and some basic furniture that has seen better days. We do a lot of our work at the big wooden table in the main room. Murshidabad can get very dusty, so we are always cleaning the desks. Being on B.N. Sen Road means we are close to everything we need. Most of the people working here are local, so we all know the shortcuts around Khagra. We do not spend money on fancy marketing or glossy brochures; we just focus on the research and the health work that needs doing. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we usually go for breaks. Sometimes the monkeys on the roof make a lot of noise, but we have gotten used to it over the years. It is just a regular day-to-day existence for us here, trying to stay organized and helpful in our own small way without any big fuss or polish.
