Refresher

If you go towards the Chatinakandi bus stand in Kandi, you’ll find us near the post office. It’s a busy area because of the buses coming and going all day. Being near the post office means there’s always someone walking by. We’ve been here in Murshidabad for a while now. The place is called Refresher, and we try to live up to that. It’s not a big corporate building. It’s just a simple setup where we provide what people need when they’re on the move. We get a lot of travelers who are just passing through and need a quick break. The fans are usually running full speed because it gets quite hot here. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure things are ready for the next rush of people. It’s mostly just family and local staff working here. We know the bus schedules by heart now. When a big bus pulls in, we know we’re going to be busy for the next twenty minutes. Then it goes quiet again and we sit out front for a bit. It’s a good way to see the world go by. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. We keep things simple and try to make sure everyone who stops by leaves a little better than they arrived. That's just the way things work at our spot.
