Raju Oxygen & Co

Down at Ntpc More in Farakka, you’ll find our little setup. We are right there in the Nandarun area of Murshidabad. Being near the power plant means there is always a lot of dust and big trucks moving around. Raju Oxygen & Co is mostly about the heavy cylinders we move back and forth. They are heavy and cold to touch. My back feels it every day, but it’s what we do. The shop is just a basic structure, nothing fancy at all. We have a small area to sit, but mostly we are outside or moving things in the back. The river isn't too far away, and sometimes you can feel a bit of a breeze. We get a lot of local workers and small contractors coming in. The road can get really bad during the rainy season, turning into a mess of mud. We just wear our old boots and get on with it. There’s no big mission here, just making sure people get their oxygen when they need it for their work. We don't spend time on social media or making brochures. Word of mouth is how people find us in Murshidabad. It’s a simple life out here near the plant. We open up early because that’s when the work starts for everyone else too. It's just a regular local business. We keep the cylinders lined up and ready for whoever stops by next. No fuss, just the daily work.
