Queens Spacies

The head office for Queens Spacies is located in Tikiapara, which is a part of Berhampore. We are situated really close to Kanchan Government High School, so we often hear the school bell ringing and kids shouting during their breaks. It's a lively part of town to work in. Being in Berhampore, we are surrounded by a lot of local history and busy streets. The office is where we manage all the spice-related work. It’s not a huge corporate building or anything like that, just a regular place where we keep our records and talk to suppliers. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with bags of spices waiting to be moved. We have to keep an eye on the weather because the damp isn't good for the stock. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the quality of what comes in. It’s a bit of a trek to get here through the narrow lanes if you aren’t used to the area. We have been here for a while and the neighbors all know us by name. It’s a very local feel. We don't use fancy systems, just notebooks and a lot of memory. The smell of the spices usually lingers in the air around the building, which is how most people find us if they get lost near the school. It is just a plain, honest workspace.
