Partha Mondal & Co.

Partha Mondal & Co. is based in the village of Bahurul. We are quite far out, near the Durgapur post office. If you need to find the local authorities, we come under the Berhampore police station. It’s a very rural setting, so things move a bit slower than they do in the big towns. Most of the people working here are from Bahurul or the nearby villages. We don't have a fancy office building. It’s more of a traditional structure that fits in with the rest of the village. We spend our days dealing with the local business needs. Sometimes the roads get difficult during the monsoon season, so we have to plan our deliveries carefully. It’s a small operation, but we’ve been here long enough that everyone knows who we are. We don't have a lot of modern equipment. We rely on doing things the way we’ve always done them. It’s hard work, and the sun can be quite brutal in this part of Berhampore. We don't have an air-conditioned lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see me or one of the boys working at a wooden table. We take pride in just staying steady and keeping the business going year after year. It’s a quiet life in the village, and we like it that way. We just keep our focus on the work that needs finishing before the day ends.
