It’s a very local feel here in Murshidabad. We are a small operation, and the atmosphere reflects that. We don't have any big signs or a flashy entrance. Most people in the village know where we are if they need us. Working with food in this part of West Bengal means you have to be careful with the storage because of the humidity. We spend our days managing the production and making sure the packets are sealed right. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s what we know. The local area is quite traditional, and we fit right in with the way things are done here. We aren't trying to pretend we are some giant corporation. We are just a local business trying to make a way for ourselves. Sometimes we sit outside in the evening when the work is done and just watch the traffic on the local roads. It’s quiet enough that you can hear the birds, which is a nice change from the noisier parts of the district.
