It is a bit of a crowded area with a lot of shops and people moving around all day long. Our office at 142/1 is where we handle the steel strip business. It’s mostly just us keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out to the local buyers. The road outside can get pretty jammed up, especially when the weather is bad or during the market hours. We have a small team here and we just stick to what we know. There isn’t much to say about the building itself, it’s an old-fashioned setup that does the job. We deal with the strips and the steel pieces every single day. Some days are longer than others, especially when we have a big load to move. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We just make sure the records are right and the customers get what they asked for. It’s a simple life working in Khagra. You get used to the noise and the rhythm of the town after a while.
