If you’re looking for Mithu Engineering, you’ve got to head toward Eroali in Khargram. We are right at House No- 234, which isn’t hard to find if you know where the Satsang Mandir is. Being near the temple means we get to hear the bells and the chanting sometimes, which is a nice change from the sound of machines and tools hitting the floor. Our workshop is a bit of a mix. We have heavy parts sitting in the corners and grease marks on the walls that we never quite get around to cleaning off. It’s an engineering spot, so it’s supposed to look a bit used. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a person in a suit waiting to greet you. Usually, you’ll find one of us with our sleeves rolled up, probably covered in a bit of dust. We’ve been in Khargram for a while now, and the locals know the sound of our shop. Some days we are buried in repairs and other days we’re just waiting for parts to arrive from the city. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don’t put on any acts here. If something is broken, we tell you. If it’s going to take a week, we say a week. It’s just how we operate at House 234. We like being part of the village life here while doing our technical stuff.
