Imran Haque & Co.

We are located over on Old Police Line Road in Gorabazar. It is a bit of a quiet area compared to the main market, but we are near the English Medium School, so it gets noisy when the kids are let out. You can hear them shouting and playing from our windows. Murshidabad is a place with a lot of history, and you can feel it on this road. Imran Haque & Co. is a small setup. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our files and do our meetings. The village of Gorabazar has grown a lot, but this road still feels like it used to. We have some old wooden furniture that has been here as long as I can remember. It’s comfortable in its own way. We don’t have fancy lights or a reception desk. Usually, if you come in, you’ll find one of us sitting at the main table with a cup of tea. We spend a lot of time talking to local people and handling the paperwork that comes with the job. It's a steady pace. We aren't in a rush to change things or move to a bigger city. We like it here in Murshidabad. The commute is short and we know most of the people who walk past our gate every day. It’s a very local way of doing things. We just try to stay on top of the work we have and keep our records straight. The school bell usually tells us when it's almost time to wrap up.
