Femina Vegetable Hub

We are located in Sargachi, specifically on the Budh Bazzar Road in Berhampore. The address is a bit long, but we’re easy to find if you’re near the Sultan Puri area. This is a vegetable hub, so things start very early for us. Long before the sun is up, there are crates being moved and trucks arriving. The smell of fresh earth and produce is everywhere. It’s a busy, damp, and noisy environment. We don't have a carpeted office or air conditioning. Instead, we have stalls and storage areas filled with whatever is in season. The Budh Bazzar Road gets extremely crowded on market days, and you can hardly move for all the people and carts. We’ve been part of the Berhampore community for quite a while now. Our clothes usually end up with a bit of dirt on them by the end of the shift. It’s physical work, lifting bags and sorting through the greens. We don't have time for fancy talk or marketing. We just make sure the vegetables are moved where they need to go. There’s a lot of shouting back and forth to get things done quickly. It’s a lived-in space, and it definitely feels like a real market hub. If you’re looking for us, just follow the sound of the crowd near the post office. It’s just how life goes here in Sargachi and we are used to the pace.
