Edutouch Welfare Foundation

We set up Edutouch Welfare Foundation in Berhampore, specifically over in Gorabazar. Our place is on Old Police Line Road, at 8/9B. It’s a familiar part of town for most people living in Murshidabad. The building is older, but it works for what we need. We spend most of our time dealing with the daily tasks that come with running a welfare group. It’s not always smooth sailing. Sometimes the internet is slow or the heat gets to be a bit much in the afternoons, but we keep at it. We wanted to stay local because this is the area we know best. Being right near the old police line means people can find us without getting lost too often. We aren't trying to be some massive organization. We just want to do our bit here in West Bengal. The team is small, just a few local people who have lived here for a long time. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertisements. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or just by walking past the road. It’s a practical way to run things. We usually have tea together in the morning before we start the day's work. It helps us stay grounded and focused on the practical stuff that needs to get done. There’s always someone coming by to ask for a bit of help with paperwork or just to see how we’re doing. We appreciate the friendly atmosphere. It makes the long days feel shorter.
