Bango Research Foundation

The office is based in Islampur, out in the Raninagar-I block. It’s at Mohammad Abdul Rashid’s place. Most people in the village just call him by his name rather than the Bango Research Foundation title we use for the paperwork. Domkal is the nearest bigger spot people recognize. It’s a bit dusty on the walk over during the dry season, but the area is nice enough. We have a few rooms where we do our research work. It isn't like those laboratories you see on TV with white coats. It’s mostly just desks, books, and us talking about things. We have a lot of tea while we work. The internet can be a bit slow out here sometimes, which gets annoying when we are trying to find something out, but we get by. We aren't a big team, just a handful of us who live nearby. It feels like a regular home most of the time. We don't have any fancy marketing people or big logos. The address is just a house in the village where we feel comfortable. People stop by to chat quite a bit, which is fine, though it can slow things down. We just keep doing what we do every day without making a big fuss about it. It’s a quiet life in Raninagar, and our little foundation is just one small part of it.
