Ahmed Mart

Ahmed Mart is right there near Raninagar Primary School in the village. It’s not a huge place, just a regular shop where people stop by for whatever they need during the day. Usually, it gets pretty busy when the school lets out because the kids all want something on their way home. My family has been running this spot for a while now. The address says Villpostp.S.- Raninagar, but it’s basically just a local corner store. We keep the shelves stocked with the basics, things like flour, sugar, and snacks. It’s not the kind of place that’s got fancy aisles or a lot of employees. Most days, it’s just me or my brother behind the counter. We talk to the neighbors about how their day is going or what’s happening in the village. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow for what they want, but everyone is pretty patient about it. The building is simple, and the sign is a bit faded from the sun, but people know who we are. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for those few hours when the school bell rings. We don’t try to be anything more than just a convenient place for the folks living around here to grab their daily items without having to travel too far.
