Our office for Kavita Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. is at 231, New Defence Colony. We are situated right on Railway Road, which means we are very close to the railway station. You can hear the trains coming and going all day long, but we have stopped noticing it by now. It is a good spot for us because it is easy for people to find when they get off the train. We deal with solar energy equipment and setting up panels for different types of buildings. It involves a lot of lifting and moving things around. The office is a very basic space without any fancy decorations. We have some solar modules on display near the front and a couple of desks where we handle the invoices. We are not interested in the corporate way of doing things. We are more comfortable out on a roof or in a workshop than sitting in a boardroom. If a customer has a question, they usually just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting at the desk. We do not have a secretary or a formal reception area. It is a busy road outside, so there is always a bit of noise and dust. Most of our time is spent travelling to different sites, but this office is where we come together to plan out the week. We just try to be fair and do good work for the people who hire us.
