Munnar Pepper Clouds Service Villa

Being near Chenkulam Dam is interesting because the weather changes so fast. Munnar Pepper Clouds Service Villa is tucked away here where the air is usually a bit damp and cool. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the windows are shut when the mist rolls in. It gets really thick sometimes and you can't see the road at all. The villa is just a place we look after and keep ready for whoever shows up. There are plenty of trees around and you can hear birds early in the morning. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. It’s mostly just us making sure everything is in its place. The kitchen always has a pot of water boiling for tea because that’s what everyone wants when they get here. The walk down toward the dam is nice if you don't mind a bit of a climb on the way back. Sometimes the power goes out when there’s a heavy rain but we have some candles and torches ready. It’s a quiet life out here away from the main town noise. We like the peace of it even if it gets a bit lonely during the rainy season. The walls are painted a simple white and the furniture is basic wood that we've had for years. It feels like a real home rather than a cold hotel room.
