Forest Haven Resorts

Forest Haven Resorts is tucked away on Mankulam Road in Kallar, under the Vattiyar P.O. We are in a very quiet part of the world, surrounded by a lot of green. Don’t let the name "Resorts" make you think we are some massive luxury company. We are just a small place with some rooms and a kitchen. We started this because we loved the peace and quiet of the forest area here. It’s not a perfect setup. Sometimes the rain makes the paths a bit muddy, and the mobile signal can be a bit weak, but that is just how it is in Kallar. We don’t have a corporate office or a team of people in suits. Most of us who work here are from the nearby villages. We don’t have a set script for how we talk to guests. We just treat everyone like a neighbor. We spend our days looking after the grounds and making sure the food is ready. It’s a very simple life. We don’t use any marketing language or try to sound like a five-star hotel. We are just a practical place to stay if you want to be near the trees. The work is hard sometimes, especially keeping everything clean in the middle of nature, but we like it here. It’s an honest, simple business run by local people.
