Youth Gramin Vikash Foundation

Youth Gramin Vikash Foundation is located in the village of Paharpur, over in the Munger district. This foundation was started by a group of us who didn't want to leave our village to find work or a better life. We wanted to see if we could build something right here in Paharpur. Life in rural Munger can be tough, and a lot of the young people feel like they have to move away to the city. We are trying to show that we can develop our own area. It’s a mix of different things, like teaching local skills or helping out with farming techniques. We aren't experts, we are just learning as we go. We spend a lot of time talking to the elders to see what worked in the past and what didn't. Then we try to apply that to the problems we have now. It’s not a polished business; it’s more like a community project. We meet in various spots around the village, wherever there is space. People know us because we grew up here. We don't use big words or make grand promises. We just want to see more opportunities for the youth in our own backyard. It’s slow, steady work, and we take pride in it. It’s about making Paharpur a place where people want to stay and grow.
