We’re located right near the Gayatri Mandir in Chhoti Daulatpur. That’s in the Jamalpur-Munger area, pin code 811214. Yayati Infraprojects Private Limited is what we call the business. It’s not a huge operation. We mostly stay around this part of Munger. If you walk past the temple, you can usually see where we are set up. It’s a busy spot. We handle different kinds of infrastructure stuff, mostly things that people need for their houses or local roads. There’s always dust and noise, but that’s construction for you. We don’t use any complicated words to describe what we do. We build stuff. The crew is mostly guys from around here who need the work. We try to be honest about how long things take. Sometimes the supplies don’t show up on time from the city, and we have to wait. It’s frustrating but it happens to everyone in this line of work. We aren’t some big corporate firm from Delhi. We’re just here in Chhoti Daulatpur doing what we can. People know us by name, not just by the company name. It’s better that way. You can see the work we’ve done if you walk around the neighborhood. It’s not perfect, but it’s solid. We’ve been at this for a while now and plan to stay near the temple for a long time. It’s just how we make our living here.
