Mahadev Auto

We are set up on the Munger-Jamalpur Road, specifically at Ward No. 44 near Bindwara More. It is a good spot because everyone passing between the two towns has to go right by us. Mahadev Auto is just a local workshop. We have a lot of space outside where we keep bikes and parts on the Bindwara Road side. It is dusty out here, especially when the big trucks go flying by on the main road. The building isn't anything special, just a roof and some walls to keep the sun off. We spend our days tinkering with engines and chatting with the people from the ward. Everyone knows everyone around here. We don’t use any big computers or fancy systems. We just remember what we have and where we put it. The work is greasy and tiring, but it’s what we do. Sometimes we have a lot of people hanging around just to talk while we work. It’s a community spot as much as it is a business. We open when the sun comes up and usually stay until it’s too dark to see the bolts properly. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain English and local news. We like being on the corner of the more because we see everything that happens on the road. It gets quiet late at night, but by then we are already home resting up for the next morning.
