We’ve been based out of this spot in Rampur Colony for some time now. It’s Quarter Number 471/Ef, right here in Jamalpur. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly houses and families around here. Our setup isn’t anything fancy. It’s basically just a place where we keep our files, take some calls, and try to organize the project work that’s happening nearby. Some days are really loud because of the trains or the traffic, and other days it’s just quiet paperwork. We spend a lot of time out at the sites, so the office is mostly for when we need to sit down and figure out the next steps. Bihar can get pretty hot in the summer, and this office feels every bit of it, but we have a few fans going and we get through the day. There’s a lot of concrete and heavy lifting involved in what we do. It’s not an easy job by any means. People around here know us as the construction folks. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Just a door and some people working inside. We’ve had a few different guys come and go over the years, but the core of what we do stays the same. We just show up, look at the plans, and try to make sure everything is built the way it’s supposed to be. It’s basic, honest work.
