Frontline Warriors Foundation

We have been operating Frontline Warriors Foundation from this spot on Munger Road for a bit now. It is right in front of Churchbari, which most people around here know well because it is a big landmark in Dariyapur. Smt. Manju Devi is the one who helps keep things organized at this address. To be honest, it is not some fancy corporate building with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a normal place where we get together to figure things out. Some days it gets pretty loud with the traffic coming off the main road, but you get used to it after a while. We started doing this because there seemed to be a lot of stuff that needed doing in the neighborhood. People stop by quite often just to say hello or ask a question about what we are working on. We try to keep things simple and just talk to folks like they are our neighbors, because they usually are. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the porch until it comes back on. It is a bit of a slow process getting everything moving, but we are just taking it one day at a time. The local tea stall is just around the corner, so that helps when we have long afternoons of planning. It’s just us here, trying to do something decent for the area without making a big fuss or acting like we know everything.
