Bahgara Ganeshkunwari Foundation

We’re based out of House Number 11 in Village Number 2, Majarchuba. You have to take the Kurua Road and look for the street in Dumunichowki to find us. It’s a quiet village area, and that’s exactly why we like it. We started this foundation because we wanted to do something for the folks right here in our own community. We don’t have a website or a fancy office with desks. It’s just the house and a couple of us working through whatever tasks come up that day. Most days involve talking to neighbors about their crops or their kids' schooling. We try to be a bridge for people who don't know where else to turn when they have a problem. It’s very much a local effort, run by people who grew up on these same streets. We know the struggles of living out here away from the big cities. Sometimes the roads are bad or things don't move as fast as we want, but we just keep at it. We might be small, but we care a lot about Majarchuba and the people here. If someone has a problem at House 11, we try to solve it together. There isn't any corporate ladder here. It’s just neighbors helping neighbors. We use our own time and our own space to make things a little easier for everyone around Dumunichowki and beyond.
