Masnoee Traders

We are located at Shop No. 8 in the Golden Arcade. This is right at Zero Point on the Adani Port Road in Mundra-Kachchh. It is a very specific part of the world to be in. The wind blows quite hard here and brings in a lot of salt from the sea. We are traders, so our day is mostly about managing stock and talking to drivers. The arcade is a busy place with a lot of different businesses. We have a small office space that is functional but not very stylish. Most of the time we are checking manifests or looking at the inventory in the back. The port road is always full of heavy traffic heading towards the water. It’s a rugged environment and you have to be tough to work here every day. We don't have any corporate training or big manuals. We just learned the business by doing it for a long time. Sometimes the heat is almost unbearable in the summer months but we keep the doors open for a breeze. People come to us because we are right on their route. It is a practical location for what we do. We just focus on getting the goods where they need to go without any fuss. It’s a living and it keeps us busy. The arcade has a few other shops but most are related to the shipping industry. We have a small kettle in the back for making coffee which we drink out of mismatched mugs. The road out front is never quiet, even in the middle of the night you can hear the rumble of the engines.
