Zim Laboratories Ltd.

We are based at Manisha Plaza on Sonapur Lane in Kurla West. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always something going on outside. The lane is usually crowded with people and vehicles, but once you step into our office at number 41, it’s all about the lab work. Zim Laboratories is where we spend our time testing and looking at different formulations. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a glossy magazine. There are lab coats hanging on the back of chairs and vials sitting on every available surface. We don’t have a big, polished reception area. Usually, if someone comes in, they just find one of us working at a bench or typing up a report. Kurla can be a bit chaotic, but it’s a central place to be for business. We’ve got a mix of people here, some who’ve been with us for decades. We don’t use a lot of fancy jargon when we talk to each other. We just focus on whether the results are right and if the batches are up to code. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby shop on Sonapur Lane. We’re just a bunch of regular people who happen to be very into the science of what we do. It’s a lot of routine, but we don't mind it.
