Our office is located at 501 in the Silver Metropolis building. It’s on the 5th floor, way out in Goregaon East. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how busy it gets. The Silver Metropolis is a big place, and we are just one of the many businesses inside. At Zicom, we spend our days working with electronic security systems. It involves a lot of technical talk, but we try to keep it simple when we talk to our customers. The office is usually full of wires, cameras, and different gadgets we are testing. It can look a bit like a workshop sometimes. We aren't the type to have a perfectly clean desk. There is always something that needs to be taken apart or put back together. The traffic in Goregaon is probably our biggest complaint, but once we’re in the office, we just focus on the tasks at hand. We have a small break area where we sit and talk about anything other than work for a few minutes. It's a fast-paced environment, but we try not to let it get to us. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we’ve seen how much the technology has changed over the years. We just keep learning new things and trying to keep up with the daily demands of the job.
