YY HARNESS CO

We’re located at 52D in the Chotani Building, which is part of the Jyoti Estate. You’ll find us on Proctro Road. The building has been around for quite a while, so it has that old-school character you don’t see in the newer developments. YY HARNESS CO is basically a workshop where we spend our days dealing with all sorts of wiring and assembly. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much material stored on the shelves and under the benches. The lighting is okay, but we use desk lamps for the more detailed tasks that need focus. Proctro Road can be quite a maze if you aren’t used to it. There’s a lot of activity in the estate, with people moving crates and talking loudly in the hallways. Our space isn't fancy at all. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have been with us since the start. The floor has some scuff marks from moving equipment around. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background to keep things moving. It’s a tight-knit group here. We know each other’s habits and how we like our tea. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Sometimes the elevator in the building is out of service, so we end up getting a bit of exercise on the stairs. We don’t mind it much. It’s just part of being in an older part of the city. We have a small window that lets in some fresh air when it's not too dusty outside.
