Taheri Enterprises is tucked away on the second floor of Varaya House. The address is 23 Yusuf Meherally Road, right in the middle of a very busy part of Mumbai. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know how crowded it gets with trucks and people moving goods all day long. Our office is number 5. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We do a lot of trading and sourcing here. It’s mostly about knowing who has what and where it needs to go. The phone rings a lot, and there’s always someone coming in or out with a delivery slip. Mumbai is a fast city, and Yusuf Meherally Road feels like the center of that sometimes. We don't have much space for a lobby or anything, so it’s straight to business once you walk through the door. The walls are lined with samples and old folders from years of work. Sometimes the noise from the street is loud enough to hear through the windows, but we don't mind it. It reminds us that things are moving. We’ve stayed in this spot because it’s close to the markets and the docks. It’s practical. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep things moving and stay reliable for the folks who buy from us and need their goods delivered.
