Ethor

We set up our office at Office No. 1 in BDD Chawl No. 1, which is right near Poddar Hospital in Worli. Being in a BDD Chawl means we are in a very old and historic part of Mumbai. The walls are thick and the corridors are quite wide. It is a completely different vibe than the new glass buildings you see in other parts of the city these days. We use this space to run our business, Ethor. It is mostly computer-based work and meeting with people. We do not have a big sign or anything flashy on the outside. Most people who come here are looking for the hospital and happen to see us. The area is always crowded with people visiting the hospital or the local markets nearby. It can be a bit of a maze inside the chawl if you are not used to the layout. We like it here because it feels real and grounded. We get our lunch from the local stalls and know many of the people who have lived in these chawls for generations. Our office is just a simple room with some desks and chairs. We are not trying to impress anyone with fancy interior design or expensive furniture. We just focus on the work we have to do on our laptops. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside on the main road, but we just keep going.
