World Of Mosaic

World Of Mosaic is located at Ushass 16A in the Pushtikar Society over in Jogeshwari West. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it feels a lot different than being in a big industrial park. Our setup is inside the society, which makes it feel more like a community business where everyone knows each other. We’ve got our space at 16A where we keep all our materials and bits of glass and stone. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, because mosaic work involves a lot of small pieces and cutting things down to size, which creates a lot of scrap. There’s always dust on the tables and crates stacked against the walls. We spend our time here sketching out designs or piecing things together one by one on the workbenches. It’s slow work, but we don't mind the pace because you can't rush this kind of thing. Being in Jog (W) means we’re close to everything we need, but tucked away enough in Pushtikar Society that we don't get all the heavy traffic noise from the main road. People often stop by just to see what we’re working on or to talk about a project they have in mind for their own homes. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who really enjoy the process of putting things together. World Of Mosaic isn't a high-tech operation; it’s very much hands-on and a bit old-fashioned in how we handle things. We like the neighborhood and the fact that we can work in a place that feels more like home.
