World Health Organization

This is our local setup for the World Health Organization in Mumbai. We are located in Wadavali Village, specifically Room Number 44. It is right near the Municipal School in Chembur. It is a bit of a humble location compared to what people might expect. The area is very local and the school nearby is always noisy with kids during the day. We are in the 400074 pin code zone. Working out of Wadavali Village means we are right in the middle of the community. The room is small and we use it to organize our local efforts and keep track of whatever health initiatives are happening in the area. It is not a big corporate headquarters. It is just a simple room with some chairs and a desk where we keep our files. Sometimes the neighbors come by to ask questions and we do our best to help them out or point them in the right direction. It gets quite humid here during the monsoon and the roof sometimes drips a little bit, but we make do. It is a very practical place to be if you want to know what is going on with the people in Chembur. We do not have any big fancy signs. You just look for the Municipal School and we are right there in the village area. It is just us doing our daily tasks in a very ordinary Mumbai neighborhood.
