You can find Wood Pecker Packaging Industry over at Kranti Apartments, specifically in unit A-1301 on Mount Mary Road. Being up here in Bandra West gives us a bit of a different perspective on the city. The apartment setup is where we run things from. It’s not a big industrial warehouse like you might expect from the name, but we make the space work for us. Mount Mary Road gets quite a lot of visitors, especially during certain times of the year, so getting in and out of the building can be a bit of a chore. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working at the big table we have set up in the main room. The elevator in Kranti Apartments is a bit old and slow, so we often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying too much. The view from A-1301 is actually quite nice if you like looking at the rooftops of Bandra. It’s a bit cramped with all the boxes and paperwork we have piled up, but we know where everything is. The kitchen area is mostly just for making tea and coffee throughout the day. We have been here long enough that the security guards at the gate know our faces. It is a busy atmosphere but it’s home for the business. We just keep our heads down and handle the packaging side of things from this little corner of the building. Sometimes the wind from the ocean comes through the balcony door and cools the whole place down.
