Our office is tucked away in Mariegold Appt, which is right behind that Mangatram P.P. Quarry Road in Bhandup West. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know it’s a bit rough around the edges with all the quarry work and the dust. Wilson Sandhu Logistics I Ltd. has been operating from this 104/B unit for a good while. The air is always a bit thick with the sound of machinery from the nearby quarry. We spend our days staring at shipping schedules and trying to coordinate with the warehouses. It’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone. The office is a bit small, and we have boxes of old records stacked up in the corner because we never seem to throw anything away. We’ve got a small balcony where we go to catch a breath of air, even if it’s just the smell of the road. It’s a busy life, and Bhandup is always crowded, so just getting to work can be a challenge. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby. We just focus on getting the logistics sorted and making sure the drivers have their permits. It’s honest work, even if it’s a bit messy and loud. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the shipments moving. Most people here have been with us for years now.
