Western India Forging

Western India Forging is located over at Dockyard Road, right on the 4th Cross in Dodda Bommasandra 2. It’s an industrial kind of spot, as you might guess from the name. The heat from the equipment can get pretty intense during the summer months, but we’ve all gotten used to it. We have some heavy machinery here that makes a fair bit of noise throughout the day. The floors are concrete and usually covered in a bit of soot or metal shavings. It’s a tough environment, but it’s honest work. We started out small and just kept going at this same location. The 4th Cross can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the layout of Dodda Bommasandra, but once you're here, you can't miss the sound of work being done. We don't have a fancy reception area or air-conditioned offices. Most of us are out on the floor most of the time. There’s a small break area where we have tea, and that’s about it for extras. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving heavy pieces and making sure the machines are running right. We don't talk much during the shift because of the noise, but we get the work finished. It's just a regular forging setup, nothing more. We’ve been at this Dockyard Road spot for a while now and we plan to stay right here.
