Our office is tucked away in the Samarpan Complex over in Andheri East. We are on the second floor, right across from Solitaire Park on Link Road. If you’ve ever been to Chakala, you know how the traffic can be, especially during the monsoon. We’ve been operating from these two rooms, 202 and 203, for a good bit of time. It’s mostly desks and filing cabinets in here. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or working through spreadsheets related to the can business. It’s not the most glamorous job, but someone has to make sure the manufacturing side and the distribution side stay connected. The office gets a lot of light in the afternoon, which is nice. Sometimes it gets a bit loud because of the construction nearby or the planes heading to the airport. We usually grab lunch from one of the small stalls downstairs. We don't really do the big corporate meetings or anything like that. It’s more about sitting down and figuring out the logistics of moving metal and getting orders filled. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know each other's habits. We just focus on getting the work done without much fuss. It’s a busy spot in a busy part of Mumbai, and we’ve made ourselves at home here. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the daily tasks as they come.
