West Pharmaceutical Services Ltd. is based out of Vakharia Bhuvan, which is on Joshi Lane in Ghatkopar East. It’s a bit of a maze getting around these parts of Mumbai if you aren't from here, but we like the neighborhood. We handle things related to the pharmaceutical world, though mostly on the service side. The building, Vakharia Bhuvan, has that old Mumbai feel to it—solid and reliable. We spend most of our time at our desks or talking to people over the phone about orders and supplies. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people wearing suits every day. We prefer being comfortable while we work because the days can get long. Joshi Lane isn't the biggest road, so things can get a bit cramped when deliveries arrive, but we make it work somehow. We’ve been in Ghatkopar East for a while, and we know the guys at the local stalls pretty well. The work isn't always exciting, mostly checking details and making sure the numbers match up, but it is important in its own way. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. It’s just us in the office, trying to stay organized and making sure everything is handled properly before the day ends. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living for a small group like us.
