You can find Warp N Weft Fabrics Pvt.ltd over at the Sethna Building on Maharshi Karve Road. We are at number 55, right in the Marine Lines area. It is a classic part of the city, and being in an older building like Sethna gives the place a bit of real character. The ceilings are high, and the walls have seen a lot of years go by. We deal mostly in different kinds of fabrics. It is a lot of manual work, moving heavy bolts of cloth from one corner to the other. The dust from the textiles sometimes makes us sneeze, but that is just part of the job. We have been here for a while now. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit, but we have mostly stayed the same. We do not use much technology besides the basics. We prefer looking at the fabric with our own eyes and feeling the texture with our hands. It is how we have always done things. We are not looking to become some massive global chain. We like being a local presence here in Marine Lines. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud enough to drown out our conversations, especially during the rush hour when everyone is heading to the station. But inside, it is mostly just us doing our thing.
