You can find Walchand People First Ltd. over at Construction House on Walchand Hirachand Road. We are located in the Ballard Estate area of Mumbai, which is a place full of old buildings and a lot of history. Our office is at number 5, and it’s a pretty solid place to work. Being in Mumbai, things are always moving fast, but we try to keep a steady pace here. We deal with people-related services, which mostly means a lot of meetings and paperwork. The office has those high ceilings you see in this part of town, and it can get a bit noisy with the traffic from the docks nearby. We aren't big on flashy office decor. It’s more about the desks, the files, and the people working at them. We have a small crew that has been around for a long time. People come in and out for various reasons throughout the day. We don’t use a lot of corporate talk; we just say things as they are. Ballard Estate has its own charm, even if the parking is a nightmare. Most of us take the train anyway. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s a typical Mumbai workplace where we just get on with it and handle whatever comes across the desk each morning.
