Tamana Textile

You can find Tamana Textile over at Plot No. 2 in the Amar Deep Building. We are very close to the New National Market in Wadala. The area is always packed with people looking for fabrics. Our shop is filled with rolls of cloth from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to move around. We’ve been in Wadala for a good while and know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a bit of a maze with all the bundles stacked up. We don't have fancy lights or a big display window. We just put the stock out and people come in to look. It gets quite dusty with all the threads and fibers in the air. We keep a fan going to stay cool, but it doesn't do much when it’s humid. We handle a lot of different materials every day. Some are heavy and some are light. Our counter is old wood and the edges are worn down from years of use. We write our receipts by hand most of the time. It’s a busy life but we like being part of the market scene. Wadala is a central spot for this kind of work. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to it.
