S. K Enterprises

Over at No. 76 Pragati Nagar in Wadala East, that is where S. K Enterprises operates. Wadala is an interesting place, especially this part of it. It’s got a lot of history and a lot of regular people just trying to make a living. Our office is small. It’s just one of those places where you walk in and see everything at once. We’ve got a couple of old desks and a filing cabinet that sticks every time you try to open the bottom drawer. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing down notes on bits of paper. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us. We know each other's families and what everyone likes for lunch. Sometimes we sit out front when the weather is okay, just to get some air away from the computers. Pragati Nagar can be quite busy, and there’s always someone stopping by to chat or ask for directions. We don't have a fancy website or a mission statement on the wall. We just do our work, try to keep our customers happy, and make sure the accounts are in order. It’s a steady kind of life. We’ve been here for years, and the neighbors know us. It’s not glamorous, but it is our daily reality and we are okay with that.
