If you find yourself on Dr. Annie Besant Road, you might see the City View Building. We are in units 1 and 2 on the 201 side. Vtotech Seating Systems (P) Ltd. has been operating out of this space for some time now. It’s a busy road, always full of cars and people rushing to get somewhere. Inside our doors, it’s all about seating. We have frames and foam and fabric scattered around depending on what’s being worked on that day. It isn't a showroom where everything is perfectly polished. It’s more of a workspace where things actually happen. The light coming through the windows in the afternoon is nice, but mostly we are looking at our benches and tools. Making seats sounds simple but there is a lot of back and forth involved. We have a small crew. We know each other's habits by now. No one wears a suit here. We wear what’s comfortable for moving heavy items around. Sometimes the city noise gets loud, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. It’s a steady pace. We don't do big presentations. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come to the building and see the work for themselves.
