We are located in Andheri West, right opposite the Kamat Club in the Lokhandvala area. Volkart Fleming Shipping And Services Ltd is our name, and this is where we do all our daily business. Mumbai is always moving fast, and this neighborhood is no different. Our office is often a bit of a mess with shipping documents and folders piled up on the desks. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to people at the port or trying to track down where a specific container has ended up. It can be a bit stressful when things don't go according to plan, which happens more often than we'd like. The traffic outside on the way to Lokhandvala is always a topic of conversation here. We are just a group of people who know the shipping business well enough to keep things ticking along. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, handle the paperwork, and try to make sure the services we provide actually get done. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, and other times it’s a bit quieter and we can actually catch our breath. Being near the club means there’s always something happening outside, but inside we are just focused on the logistical puzzles we have to solve every day.
