Vke Valves Industries Pvt Ltd is our small company based in Goregaon East. We are located in Giriraj Society, which is part of the N.N.P.-2 area. It’s a bit of a trek to get here sometimes with the Mumbai traffic on Gen. A.K.V. Marg. We make valves of all sorts for different industries. Our workshop is 69/C/10 and it’s always got the sound of machines running. We aren't a massive factory with robots. It is mostly us doing the work by hand and using the lathes. We’ve been in the 400065 zip code area for quite some time now. The space is a bit tight, but we’ve organized it so we can get the production done. We don't have any polished sales people or big brochures. If someone needs a valve, they usually just call and ask if we can make it. We spend our days checking measurements and making sure the metal is right. It gets hot in the shop during the summer months, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the task at hand. Most of our workers live nearby in Mumbai. We’re just a regular local business trying to make a living in a competitive city. We take pride in just getting the work done without a lot of fuss or drama. There is always more metal to cut tomorrow.
