Our units are located on the ground floor of the Vivek Industrial Estate over on Wallbhatt Road. It is a convenient spot in Goregaon, though the traffic on the way in can be a bit of a nightmare during the rains. Vivek Electroplast has been operating out of Unit 7 and 8 for a long time. It is a bit cramped inside because we have a lot of equipment packed into the space, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent watching the molds and making sure the plastic parts come out right. There is always a faint smell of warm plastic in the air, which you get used to after about ten minutes. We are not the kind of place that has a big sign or a fancy lobby. You just walk in through the main estate gates and find us on the ground floor. The workers here mostly live nearby, so there is a lot of local talk during lunch breaks. We focus on the daily output and making sure nothing goes to waste. Sometimes the power flutters or a machine acts up, and everyone has to pitch in to get things back on track. It is a humble setup, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Goregaon is full of places like ours, tucked away in estates, just doing their thing without making much of a fuss. We just focus on the parts.
