We spend a lot of our time dealing with the city’s pace. Construction here is a lot of work. You have to deal with tight spaces and lots of people. We have got a small office where we handle the planning. It is usually a bit disorganized, with samples and tools lying around. We do not mind it, though. It feels like a real workspace. We do a lot of residential work and some commercial stuff too. The city never stops, so neither do we. Sometimes we are working late to meet a deadline. We are not trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to keep working and doing things the right way. We know the local building rules and how to get things done in this town. It takes a certain kind of patience to build in Mumbai. We have got that. Most of our guys have been with us for a long time. We are like a small family here. We do not have a website with fancy photos. We just let the finished buildings speak for themselves. It is a tough business, but it keeps us going. We just take the projects as they come and do our part.
