Down in Virar, you will find Darshan Extusions Pvt. Ltd. at 101, Shiv Shakti Sadan. We are right on V. S. Marg, and it’s easy to spot us because we are opposite the Kanch Buglow. There is also the Motiba Rice Mills nearby, so sometimes you can smell the grain in the air. The office is a busy place because we deal with extrusions, which means there is always talk about dimensions and metal types. Mumbai traffic is famous, and Virar is no different, so getting here in the morning can be a bit of a challenge. Our building, Shiv Shakti Sadan, is a decent place but it shows its age in some spots. We have metal samples sitting on almost every flat surface. It’s not the quietest office because of the machines and the street noise. We usually have the windows open to catch a breeze, even if it brings in some noise from the rice mill. We don’t have a fancy dress code here. Most of us just wear what is comfortable for a long day of work. We handle a lot of paperwork for the factory side of things. There is always a lot of tea being passed around during the afternoon slump. We have been at this location for a while now, and the neighbors are all friendly. It’s a practical setup for the type of manufacturing work we are involved in. We just focus on getting the orders right.
