We are located at 137, Adhyaru Industrial Estate, which sits inside the Sun Mill Compound in Lower Parel (W). This area used to be full of old mills, and you can still see some of that history in the walls and the way the buildings are laid out. Vinpa Exports Pvt Ltd is just one of many businesses operating in this busy corner of Mumbai. Our office isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. There are boxes stacked up in the corners and rows of files that we have to sort through every day. The compound is always full of activity, with delivery vans coming and going and people rushing to get to their offices. We mostly deal with the logistics of moving things around, so there's a lot of checking of lists and making sure the paperwork matches what’s in the crates. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running at full speed. We don't have any polished speeches or high-level corporate strategies. We just come in, see what needs to be shipped out, and get it ready. Sometimes we grab a quick lunch from the stalls outside and talk about the weekend. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of job. We’ve been here at 137 for a while and we know the quirks of the building, like which window sticks when it rains. It's just a regular place to work.
