Vinodini Exports

If you find yourself on Kalbadevi Road, you know how crowded it gets with all the people and the carts. We are in the Popatwadi area, inside the Shree Siddhivinayak Building at number 51. You have to go up to the second floor and find Room No. 16 to see where Vinodini Exports operates. It’s a tight space, but we make it work. The building is old and has a lot of history, which you can feel when you walk up the stairs. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, the room is filled with ledgers, samples, and the sound of people talking on their phones. It’s a busy environment because Kalbadevi is the heart of trade. We handle exports, so there’s always a lot of paperwork to deal with. Sometimes the power goes out or the stairs are blocked with bundles of cloth, but that’s just life in this part of Mumbai. We don’t use fancy words to describe what we do. We just connect people with the goods they need. Our team is small, mostly just a few of us who know the ropes. We drink a lot of tea and spend most of the day checking on shipments and talking to suppliers. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now. We just try to get the work done right.
