Vinay Electrical Industries

You can find us over at 54 Mehta Indl.Est. on the 3rd floor. It’s near Liberty Garden, specifically in X Lane in Malad West. It’s a bit of a maze getting up here if you aren't familiar with the building. Vinay Electrical Industries has been tucked away in this corner for a long time. The elevator in the estate is old and sometimes it doesn't even work, so we end up carrying things up the stairs. It keeps us fit, I guess. The office and the workshop are basically the same room, separated by a thin partition that doesn't really block out the sound. We have windows that look out over the lane, but they’re usually too dusty to see much through. It’s a tight space with boxes piled up near the door. Malad is always crowded, and the traffic on the way to Liberty Garden can be a nightmare in the evenings. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team telling us what to say. We just handle the electrical stuff and try to stay on top of the pile of invoices on the desk. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking noise that drives everyone crazy, but nobody ever gets around to fixing it. It’s just a normal workshop where we spend most of our waking hours. We just focus on getting through the daily list and keeping things moving. It's a simple life in a busy city.
